10/23/2019

  • Registration for Spring Dual Enrollment is now open. Schedule an appointment with your counselor to pick your classes ASAP.
  • Students interested in taking Dual Enrollment classes can sign up to take the PERT test with Mr. Cofield between 10/14 – 11/4. There will be a sign-up sheet on his door.
  • Drama Club will meet TODAY after school in the Cafeteria until 4 pm. Please arrange a ride home. New members are still welcome to join the Drama Club.
  •  Girls Basketball tryouts are next Monday October 28th @ 4:00 pm.
  •  Last day for Girls Soccer try outs Thursday. 4:00-5:45 pm
  •  Good afternoon Falcons!! Come open an account today at VyStar during all lunches and get a mystery bag full of goodies. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
  •  Juniors & Seniors interested in military service after graduation- the ASVAB test will be offered on November 22nd. Sign up in Guidance.
  •  Freshman Student I.D.’s will be available for pick up in the Media Center during all lunches the rest of this week. All upper class-man student i.d.’s will be distributed through your English teachers.

  • Candidates for seats on the MHS Student Council may start their campaigns as early as Monday October 14th. The election will be held on Wednesday October 30th.Times & locations will be announced one week before.

  • Congratulations to the girls & boys Cross Country teams on Saturday’s outstanding performance. Both teams placed 5th at the Matanzas Invitation. The boy’s team is currently ranked 23rd in the state. A special shout out to Ryan Jones who ran a 17:33 5K on Saturday, making him the fastest freshmen Pedro has ever had.

If you are a student with text books or library books that have not been returned in prior years or paid for you will not be able to purchase a Homecoming ticket until you take care of this issue. You can take care of this by bringing the items or the money for the item to the dean’s office during LUNCHES!! See Dean Smith or Mrs. Bozeman.
