  • Just a little reminder the Toys for Tots Toy Drive will go on until December 2. Get your 01 class, clubs, teams involved for a good cause and a Chik-fil-A breakfast for whoever brings in the most toys! These toys must be new, no used.

 

  • Any Seniors that would like to get 3 credits of College Math with Mr. Erb while here at Pedro, please see Mr. Erb in room 615 ASAP!!!!

 

  • Drama club will NOT meet today, but will meet Wednesday of this week in the Cafeteria until 4 pm. Again, no Drama Club today. Please arrange a ride home.

  • There will be a Blood Drive this Friday, November 15th. One pint can save 3 lives, give blood & give life! The HOSA Club will be having sign ups for the blood drive during all lunches Tuesday through Thursday of this week. See Ms. Willis in room 222 for any questions.

 

  • The Ruff club will meet tomorrow (Wednesday) in room 770 after school. Please make sure that you have transportation home.

  • Juniors & Seniors interested in military service after graduation- the ASVAB test will be offered on November 22nd. Sign up in Guidance.

 

  • “HOSA is hosting a penny wars contest to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Each first period class has a jug to collect pennies.  The 1st period to collect the most pennies wins a breakfast courtesy of HOSA.”

 

  • National Honor Society will meet on Friday at 8:30 in the Media Center. Please bring your blankets with you to complete your service project. NHS Officers will meet at 8:30 on Thursday in room 845.

 

  • Drama club will meet today after school in the cafeteria until 4 PM. New members are still welcome. Be sure to arrange a ride home.

  • Elections for seats on the PMHS Student Council will be held during lunch hours on Tuesday, November 5th in the Cafeteria. There are only two contested races, the Sophomore class & the Junior class. There will be four voting booths, two at which sophomores can vote & two at which juniors may vote.

 

  • Boys Basketball try-outs will be Monday, November 4th from 4-6 pm. You must be athletically cleared to participate. Please see Coach Matthews if you have any questions.

 

  • Go check out the “Jack O Lanterns” in the Media Center today!!!!! Go cast your vote for the one you think is the best!!

 

  • Attention students, Mr. Hoog’s 01 class is currently in the lead with the most toys for the Toys for Tots Drive. Don’t forget to start bringing in your toys for a chance to win a Chick fil a breakfast & support an amazing cause.

  • The Menendez Volleyball team will be holding its first Powder BUFF event, which is a Junior vs Senior boys volleyball game. It will be held in the gym October 30th at 6:30 pm, free admission. Make sure to come support!

 

  • Boo Bags are now on sale during all lunches until October 30th. They are Halloween themed candy grams that will be delivered on the 31st. Support National Art Honor Society by sending your friends a treat. Boo Bags are only $1.00 each.

  • Students interested in taking Dual Enrollment classes can sign up to take the PERT test with Mr. Cofield between 10/14 – 11/4. There will be a sign-up sheet on his door.

  •  Freshman Student I.D.’s will be available for pick up in the Media Center during all lunches the rest of this week. All upper classman student i.d.’s will be distributed through your English teachers.
