*Good afternoon Falcons! Here are your announcements.

 

*The VyStar Branch will be opened Tuesday & Thursday this week.

 

*There will be after school tutoring on Wednesday.

 

*Seniors – Graduation setting is on sale on-line. Go to the Athletic website to buy your seats now.

(This is not Graduation Tickets.)

 

*Any senior interested in singing at graduation should see Mrs. Bozeman in Guidance by April 26th to get information about auditions.

 

*Any senior that would like a job after graduation please see Mrs. Danner.  There are ten local companies that have openings for full time positions.

 

*Zaxby’s in St. Augustine is hiring and they pay $ 10.00 an hour.  Stop by and fill out an application if you would like a job.

 

*Arby’s is hiring all ages. You can go online or go into the store to fill out application.

 

*Yearbook will be going on SALE this week at ALL 3 lunches beginning Thursday, April 11th & Friday, April 12th $65. Is the current price.  Going up to $70. April 24th.

 

*LINK Crew – Any 9 – 11-grade student interested in joining LINK Crew please pick up an application in Guidance.

*Donate your stuffed Animal for Children – April 2nd – 23rd we are collecting stuffed animals in partnership with the St. Augustine Beach Police Department. Please bring your new or very gently used stuffed animals’ to the front office.

 

*2019 Prom Tickets: Now on Sale through SchoolPay.com.

School Pay tickets will be available for pickup in Vystar during all three lunches.

 

*The Drama Club – This Wednesday at 6:30 in the PAC, come see “The Commune: Peace, Love and Grooviness.” There will be door prizes and a refreshment intermission.  Admission is FREE, but donations are appreciated!

 

*Sports News:

Congratulations to the Falcon Boys Lacrosse team and Baseball as they both won their games last night.  Boys Lacrosse will play in the District Title Game Vs. St. Augustine for the 1st time since 2014.

 

Magic Dance Team auditions will be held in the PAC on Saturday May 4 from 12:00 – 2:00. A clinic will be held on Thursday April 25th from 4-5:30 in room 440.  Audition packets will be given out at the clinic.

 

All wrestlers need their banquet money in to Coach Leonard by Friday of this week.

*The Drama Club – Falcons, take a testing break and support live theater coming back to the Pedro stage.  This Wednesday at 6:30 in the PAC, come see “The Commune: Peace, Love and Grooviness.” This comedy is presented by the PMHS Drama Club.  There will be door prizes and a refreshment intermission.  Admission is FREE, but donations are appreciated!

 

 

*Sports News:

Congratulations to the following track and field athletes for advancing to the Regional meet in two weeks: Tristan Willis, Emonei Wynn, DeShawn Jackson, Kohl Jones, Jaiwan Hutchingson, Raymond Joubert, and Aaron Wynn. Tristan Willis was MVP of the District Meet winning the Triple jump in a State Leading/School record Jump of 47 feet, and he took second in the long jump, 100 meter dash, and set a new school record in the 200-meter dash.  Congratulations to all the athletes who participated!!!

 

Please Congratulate Tommy Vierck on finishing tied for 6th place at the boys weightlifting state championships.

All are invited; donations to help fund our club are appreciated! Get there early to enter for a door prize! We will be giving away some awesome gift cards to some of your local favorites like, Viola’s, Tony’s Pizza, and Smokin D’s!

*St. Johns River Dual enrollment Students – If you are interested in taking Summer Classes please make an appointment with your guidance counselor to complete the required Paperwork. Deadline for summer registrations is April 12th.

Students, Teachers, and the entire Falcon Family, get ready for some comic relief during testing week when the PMHS Drama Club presents the original play “The Commune: Peace, Love, and Grooviness. The show starts at6:30pm in the PAC on Wednesday, April 17.  Admission is FREE, but donations would be totally groovy!

 

*Sports News:

The JV and Varsity softball teams will be playing cross-town rival St. Augustine tonight for our 10th annual Innings for Cancer game.  We will be wearing blue and St. Augustine will be wearing orange in order to help fight cancer.  All proceeds from tonight’s game will go to local cancer patients.  There will be a silent auction and BBQ dinner.  We hope to see you out tonight to support the softball team and help us fight cancer!  Game Times: JV 5:pm & Varsity at 7:pm.

Good afternoon Falcons! Here are your announcements

 

*First Coast Technical College will be hosting its monthly information Session Tuesday March 12th at 6:pm at their main campus in Building A. Friday, March 15 is the deadline for all Dual Enrollment application to FCTC. There will be no exceptions for late applications.

 

*St. Johns River Dual enrollment Students – If you are interested in taking Summer Classes please make an appointment with your guidance counselor to complete the required Paperwork. Deadline for summer registrations is April 12th.

 

*Seniors: Jostens will be here on Wednesday, March 13th for Deliveries during all lunches.

 

*Last Blood Drive of 2018/2019 school year.  Thursday, March 28th.  Sign up in room 955.

 

*IB Dance Concert – Wednesday March 13th & Thursday, March 14th at 7:pm in the PAC.  Advance tickets are available for purchase from Ms. Lengyel in the PAC for $10 and will be available for $12 at the door.

 

*IB Spirit Night at ZAXBY’s Tuesday, March 12th 5 – 9pm.

 

*The RUFF Club will meet this Wednesday after school in room 770. We will have two very special guest!

 

*Drama club – Canceled for today due to conflicting appointment.

 

*Friday, March 15th is a Teacher Planning day Student holiday.  Spring Break is Monday, March 18th – Friday March 22nd. Classes resume Monday, March 25th.

Any rising JRs. & Seniors interested in Athletic Leadership Council. Applications are available from anyone in the Athletic Department or Mrs. Waldrop’s room 200. They are due back no later than March 26th.

 

Cheerleading: Anyone interested in trying out for the 2019/2020 cheerleading team. Please stop by Mrs. Taylor’s office to pick up your packet this week.

Open Gym for tryouts will be March 26th, 27th, and 28th. Tryouts will be held Saturday March 30th.

Congratulations to Ms. Prosuch who has been selected as a United States Marine Corps All American.  She was selected from a pool of more than 20,000 applicants in the nation.

*National Honor Society will meet on Friday at 8:30 in the Media Center.
