  • Attention students!!!! If you are a student with text books or library books that have not been returned in prior years or paid for you will not be able to purchase a Homecoming ticket until you take care of this issue. You can take care of this by bringing the items or the money for the item to the dean’s office during LUNCHES!! See Dean Smith or Mrs. Bozeman.

 

  • Students who paid for the PSAT please stop by guidance and see Ms. Lord to pick up a PSAT practice book! If you are a 10th grade student be sure to pick up the PSAT practice books from your English teacher. PSAT is October 16…students remember to bring a calculator and a number 2 pencil!

 

  • The Book Battle Team meets today in the Library right after school until 4:45

 

  • Model United Nations will meet today from 5-7 in the Ms. Reed’s room (#855). Please see Ms. Reed if you have any questions.

 

  • Vystar is open everyday this week during all lunches. Come open an account to win a mystery bag! We look forward to seeing everyone there.

 

  • There will be a HOSA meeting in room 222 on Wednesday, October 9th at 8:30am regarding this year’s competition events, any interested members are encouraged to attend

 

  • In the Library on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, there is going to be a Makerspace Activities Club during all lunches in the media center. Makerspace includes board games, crafts & technology to promote critical thinking. Stop by and try our mind boggling challenges.

 

  • A reminder to those of you who are seeking a seat on the new student council. There is a mandatory meeting to discuss campaign regulations. This meeting will be on Wednesday @ 3:00 in the media center. If you are unable to attend this meeting there will be an alternative meeting on Thursday @ 5:30 also in the media center. There will be one other available date on October 21st @ 4:00 pm in the media center. Petitions can be obtained in the media center or in rooms 935,770,845,840,855. Completed petitions should be returned to the media center by October 11th.

 

  • Attention Students: if you are a Junior & you drive to school, please see Coach Leonard during your lunch!!
