Southern Scholarship Foundation — RENT-free housing for FSU, Florida A&M, UF, FGCU, TCC, and Sante Fe CC

SSF provides rent-free scholarship housing for qualified stduents demonstrating acdemic achievement (3.0 GPA), financial need (from FAFSA), and good character. There are 26 scholarship houses thoruhout the state of Florida –

There is NO deadline to submit an application. However, you are encouraged to submit your completed online application early in order to have a greater chance of receiving a scholarship.

Young Arts Scholarship Award

Provides individual awards of up to $10,000. Gives national recognition of artistic excellence to students, teachers, and schools. Provides winner with an all-expenses paid weeklong learning and performance intensive in Miami Florida.

AES Scholarship

The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. To be eligible the student needs to answer one of the essay questions that they will find on our site at

Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. American Geological Institute

The American Geological Institute is sponsoring a photography contest to celebrate Earth Science Week 2015. The photography theme for this year is “Earth Systems Interacting” Maximum Award: $300, a copy of AGI’s Faces of Earth DVD, and the winner’s photograph on the Earth Science Week website.

Coca Cola Scholarship

The Program will award 250 scholarships. Selection will emphasize students who are well-rounded individuals with highly developed interests in their communities. Students must have demonstrated leadership, a commitment to community, academic achievement, and employment. APPLICANTS MUST BE:

  • CURRENT high school (or home-schooled) seniors attending school in the United States (or select DoD schools);
  • U.S. Citizens; U.S. Nationals; U.S. Permanent Residents; Temporary Residents (in a legalization program); Refugees; Asylees; Cuban-Haitian Entrants; or Humanitarian Parolees;
  • anticipating completion of high school diploma at the time of application;
  • planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution;
  • carrying a minimum 3.00 GPA at the end of their junior year of high school.Application available at

Branson Shows Inspired Scholarship

1. Scholarship Amount: $1,000
2. Submissions must be received by October 15th
3. Submissions must be sent to the web form at the above listed site or can be sent via mail.
4. Applicants must be 16-19 years of age
5. The essay topic for our annual scholarship is, “How (*Enter Your Show*) Inspired Me to Realize My Dreams.” Don’t be afraid to be creative or let your personality shine! We want to hear your unique voice! You may include a short personal statement at the end of your essay if preferred, but it is not a requirement. In the event that you have not seen a Branson Show, you may research and use your creativity.
6. Selected finalist will have award paid directly to the institution they are enrolled in.
