Criteria: Applicant must be attending college by Fall 2017 and have at least a 3.0 GPA. They must be interested pursuing a law-related degree.

.BBG Communications Scholarship – $500 – 1 Award (Deadline: June 30, 2015)
A) Be between the ages of 16 and 21 on June 30, 2015
B) Submit answers to the two essay questions, which can be found on the application page, prior to the June 30, 2015 deadline.
C) Have at least one full year of post secondary studies remaining at the time of the award
D) Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater

PFLAG of Jacksonville awards scholarships each year to openly gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender scholars pursuing higher education.PFLAG of Jacksonville holds an annual scholarship banquet where scholarship recipients are honored, awarded their scholarships and invited to give a brief presentation. Individuals and businesses who have contributed to the scholarship program are also recognized.Recipients must meet eligibility criteria and be willing to share a personal story at the banquet. A committee of local educators with diverse backgrounds reviews all applications and selects the recipients based on eligibility, academic potential and achievement, and participation in school activities and in the LGBT community.
