|Feb 1||AXA||The AXA Achievement Scholarship is awarded to 52 students nationwide – one selected from each state, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. Each state winner receives a scholarship award of $10,000. From that pool of 52 winners, ten are selected as national winners and receive an additional $15,000, bringing the national AXA Achievers’ total scholarship awards to $25,000 each.

|Arts for Life||Arts for Life! annually awards $2,000 scholarships to 25 graduating high school seniors in Florida who demonstrate
excellence in one of the following art forms:
• creative writing
• visual art
Launched by former First Lady Columba Bush in 1999, the program has awarded scholarships to more than 400
gifted high school seniors.
In addition to the program’s $2,000 cash award, winners will be automatically eligible to receive a matching in-kind
scholarship worth a minimum of $1,000 if they attend one of the participating Florida institutions for higher education:
Broward College, College of Central Florida, Flagler College, Florida Atlantic University, Florida College, Florida
Institute of Technology, Florida Southern College, Jacksonville University, Miami Dade College, Nova Southeastern
University, Palm Beach State College, and Stetson University.
