- Students who paid for the PSAT please stop by guidance and see Ms. Lord to pick up a PSAT practice book! If you are a 10th grade student be sure to pick up the PSAT practice books from your English teacher. PSAT is October 16…students remember to bring a calculator and a number 2 pencil!
- In the Library on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, there is going to be a Makerspace Activities Club during all lunches in the media center. Makerspace includes board games, crafts & technology to promote critical thinking. Stop by and try our mind-boggling challenges.
- Candidates for seats on the MHS Student Council may start their campaigns as early as Monday October 14th. The election will be held on Wednesday October 30th.Times & locations will be announced one week before.
- Registration for Spring Dual Enrollment is now open. Schedule an appointment with your counselor to pick your classes ASAP.
- Students interested in taking Dual Enrollment classes can sign up to take the PERT test with Mr. Cofield between 10/14 – 11/4. There will be a sign-up sheet on his door.
- Guitar Club meets in the Band room after school on Thursdays until 5 pm. Guitars are provided, no experience required.
- Model United Nations will meet Tuesday from 5-7 pm in the Media Center. Please see Ms. Reed in room 855 if you have any questions.
- Congratulations to the girls & boys Cross Country teams on Saturday’s outstanding performance. Both teams placed 5th at the Matanzas Invitation. The boy’s team is currently ranked 23rd in the state. A special shout out to Ryan Jones who ran a 17:33 5K on Saturday, making him the fastest freshmen Pedro has ever had.
- All Wrestlers, Please be at the Senior Parking Lot at 5:00 pm on Friday.
- Students, Please pull your old parking decal off. If you have 2 decals, you will be ticketed. You are to be parking in your new spots
