The Girls tennis team finished a fantastic tennis season with a tough loss at regional's, losing to Columbia High School 4-1. Sarah Yamnitz won at line 4 singles, in a match that lasted 2 1/2 hours, pulling out a 3 set victory, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5. The rest of the team played tough, but fell to a strong Columbia squad in straight sets. Coach Runda congratulates the team for their amazing performance this year, finishing with a 13-2 record! Special thanks for their outstanding efforts for the past four years go out to Seniors Ali Fraser and Taryn Greene, whose positive attitude and outstanding tennis will be sorely missed. Ali will go on to play at the #1 singles position in the state finals next week down in Orlando. Look for the girls tennis squad to be back strong again next season!
