Congratulations to the Falcon Swimmers for their performance in Friday's Regional Meet. It was a very fast meet, but we swam well, and dropped times in many events. Our region has been very difficult for many years, and just making it to this regional competition should serve as a tremendous honor. Attached you will find the results from Friday's meet and the State Selection sheet.
Coming in 11th place overall, our lady Falcons once again broke their record in the morning with a time of 2:00.97 in their 200 Medley Relay. Seizing this 11th place title include Leah Rondinelli in the Backstroke, Emilia Sopranzi in the Breaststroke, Lucia Skrovinova in the Butterfly, and Chelsea Daneils in the Freestyle. Great job ladies in making it back to Consolation Finals at night!

Lastly for the Lady Falcons, Senior Captain Emilia Sopranzi showed her talents in both the 200 Individual Medley and the 500 Freestyle. Her efforts made her back to the Final Competition at night, breaking once again her school records for both events, and earning her 7th place in the 200IM, and 6th Place overall in the 500 Freestyle! Her exceptional swims also earned her a spot at the state meet this Thursday in the 200 Individual Medley. Her performance in these events has exceeeded our expectations, and has once again put Menendez in the State Finals competition. Thank you for your talented effort and hard work Emilia! See you on Thursday!
The Lady Falcon Swimmers combined achieved a victory for the school, earning 17th Place overall with 47 points in the Regional Competition. We couldn't be more proud of your performance! Great job once again Lady Falcons Swimmers!
The regional competition wouldn't have been complete without the efforts of our lone boys Falcon Swimmer, Senior Viktor Cieslik. Earning himself two individual spots in the regional competition, Viktor had stunning performances in both events, earning himself 14th place in the Consolation Finals of the 500 Freestyle, and 20th Place in the preliminary competition of the 200 Freestyle. Great job Viktor!
Thanks to Viktor's efforts, he brought our team a total of 3 points in the Regional Competition and earned us 27th place for the boys. Thank you Viktor for your hard work and great performance!
Please help us to congratulate all of the Falcon Swimmers who attended the Regional Meet, and help encourage Emilia as she pursues the State Meet this Thursday!
Thank you for your combined efforts, and great job once again to all! You have made an impression on other swimmers, the coaches, and our school!
We will miss all of you next year!

Great job swimmers in our District competition on Wednesday! Many of you once again set personal records and had great swims. We are very pleased with your performance, teamwork, and enthusiasm for Menendez Swimming and look forward to seeing all of you at the banquet on November 15th.
Attached you will find the unofficial (Big thanks to Coach Ross!) results from Wednesday's District competition. She has included both prelim times and finals times. I have been told that FHSAA requirements will not allow the district results to be posted until all district competitions in our region are complete.
