CONGRATULATIONS to the Boy’s Golf team with it’s second straight win of the year beating Middleburg 169 to 184. Leading the Falcon’s was John Gleaton with a 41, followed closely was David Dendler, Logan Miller with 42 Tristan Mihalich  Walker Sims each shot a 44.

Any RUFF members interested in volunteering to walk dogs from SAFE after school next Tuesday should see Mrs. Morrison in room 770 for details.

Bird Gang shirts for the BLACKOUT home football game against St Augustine on Friday September 4th, are on sale. The cost is $10 and they will be sold during all lunches.

The media center will open on Tuesday, September 1st for general access during classes and lunch.

Blood Drive September 22nd, 9am – 1:45pm. Sign up with Mr. Hoog in room 975. Seniors, remember there’s a scholarship that you can apply for.

South Beach Grill is hiring a hostess.  If you are interested please stop by the restaurant and apply.

Best Buddies- there will be a sign-up meeting for Best Buddies on September 1st at 8:45am in room 290.

Boys’ basketball open gym tomorrow, Saturday 10-12. You will not participate without a physical on file.

The GSA Club will be meeting Wednesday, Sept. 2, in room 715. Everyone is welcome!

The first Spanish Club meeting will be this Tuesday, September 1st after school in room 740, from 4-5pm.

Congratulations to the Boy’s golf team on a win with it’s first match of the year 165 to 184 against Clay HS. John Gleaton, Eric Prill both shot 40, followed by Logan Miller 41, David Dendler, Tristan Mihalich each scored a 44 Rounding out the scoring was Hunter Boahn with a 49.

Art Club will have first meeting tomorrow, Thursday 830am in Ms. Bruner’s Room, #200! All are welcome!

The RUFF Club will meet after school this Wednesday, August 26, in room 770.

Seniors, if you have not yet had your Senior Photo/Portrait taken for Yearbook, be sure to either schedule a full session at Leonard’s before September 1st or schedule a basic yearbook pose session with Mrs. Bendt, in Rm. 925. This basic pose will occur in mid-October on campus. Basic fee for either is $25.00. Leonard’s phone is 1-800-215-4852

Girls’ Basketball: All and anyone interested in playing there will be conditioning Monday thru Thursday, 4:15-5:15. Must have current physical on file.

Don’t forget to go over with your parents all the information you received in your graduation packet. A deposit of $60, $80, or $100 is required to order.

VyStar- the Falcon branch of the Vystar Credit Union is now open for the year. Bring $5 and come in during your lunch period and open an account. Then spin the wheel to win a prize. The branch is located in room 422 near the cafeteria.

The ALC will begin selling the Paint it Pedro shirts today!  Coach Winter will  have them in her office, and will be out in the courtyard at lunches.  The $10 purchase gets you:  t-shirt, free tailgate food (starting at 6pm), and entry into the Paint War.  To clarify, students wishing to watch the football game will still need to pay $7.  These are separate costs/events.  The football game is a “white out” so please wear your Paint it Pedro shirt!  Hope to see you there!

The Concert Band will be performing their final concert of the year tomorrow, Thursday, May 14 at 7:00 in the PAC. Come out to support your fellow students and hear some great music. There will be a bake sale organized by our Winterguard members.

Prom dress closet is open. See Coach Ryan.

Any senior accepted to USF and attending please see Mr. Hoog ASAP.

Underclassmen interested in running for class office for the 2015/2016 school year, applications are in the front office, at Ms. Cleary’s desk.  They must be returned by today, May 5th!

Boy’s & Girl’s weightlifting banquet will be next Monday, May 11th @ 6:15pm in the cafeteria. Please return form to Coach Turner by Wednesday, May 6th.

The DEADLINE is FRIDAY!  How is your 1st period doing in the collection of personal care items for the Betty Griffin House?  The class that collects the most items per student will win a Chick-fil-A breakfast of chick-n-minis, fruit, and juice.  Please donate shampoo, soap, body wash, diapers, paper towels, etc.

PMHS Winterguard auditions. Audition camp is May 7th, 12th, 14th, and 15th from 4:00-6:00pm. They will be held in the Pedro Menendez HS band room. No experience required. Everyone is welcome.
