Yearbooks will go on sale on Monday, April 28, outside the cafeteria. Books will be on sale the entire week, during all lunches, starting at 11:50 and ending at 1:05. For all pre-purchased books, names are posted on various bulletin boards confirming those purchases.

For students wishing to purchase a book, the current price is $85. At this time we can only accept cash or a money order. We are not able to accept credit cards or checks. Bring payment to the tables where sales are taking place, and you will be issued a receipt and book when paid in full.

The Falcon Football Lift-a-thon will be in the Gym today, Wednesday at 4pm. All participant Money is due at that time, and fans are welcome to come watch. This will kick off an exciting Spring and upcoming season!

The annual prom fashion show is back!! Today, Wednesday, April 23rd, starting at 6:30pm, come out for a night filled with beautiful dresses and classic suits. Tickets are sold for $5 at the door. All proceeds go to prom fundraising.

“The baseball team will be holding a carwash this Saturday, April 26th from 10am to 2pm.  It will be held at Memorial Lutheran Church on US1 next to Tractor Supply.  Please come out and support the baseball team and get your car squeaky clean.”

This Friday, April 25th Student Council will be hosting the 1st annual Pedro Fun night, from 7-9pm in the courtyard. Only if 100 tickets are sold by this Thursday, April 24th. Donations will go to Relay for Life.

There will be a meeting for the GSA club in room 755 after school today, Wednesday, April 23.  Everyone is welcome.

Due to the lifting event in the gym Wednesday, we are going to have open gym Thursday after school.

TARDIES to school – Starting Monday April 28th,
we will begin closely tracking tardies to school. Over the past several weeks epidemic tardies have had a negative impact upon individual student’s grades and grades of other students.

Upon the 3rd unexcused tardy to school starting Monday, April 28th and concluding the last day of school students will lose their driving privileges.

We will be having a Hat Day on Friday.  Bring your dollar to the Lemonade stand before school starts and you will receive a stamp to wear your hat for the day.  The donation will be going to a scholarship fund in honor of Mr. Speziale from Ponte Vedra who lost his battle to cancer.  Thanks for your support!

Results from the Track District Track Meet: Savannah LeFors finished 6th in the regional meet in the high jump.

Dalton Hodge finished 4th in the mile and advanced to state. He also placed 6th in the 800 meters.

Attention students who have signed up to take the ACT on Saturday.  Please make sure you have all the appropriate paper work, picture ID, pencils, an approved calculator and you are here promptly at 7:30am. The doors will close at 8:00am sharp. NO admittance will be allowed after that.

Any Juniors or Seniors interested in participating in the Prom fashion show, please see Coach Ryan in room 935 by tomorrow, Thursday.

Students attending the AVID/IB University of Florida field trip this Saturday, please meet at the bus loop at 7 am. See Mrs. Mullins in room 855 if you have any questions.

Best Buddies – There is a Best Buddies activity today during 5th period. Also, there is a pot luck dinner Wednesday, April 16th at 6:00pm in the cafeteria.

Seniors attending grad bash, please remember you MUST be in school Friday! Mrs. Kim will be checking attendance before we leave. If you have a modified schedule, you cannot leave school and come back.  Make arrangements to stay with one of your teachers or see Mrs. Kim and she will help work it out for you.

Also, reminder that there is a dress code for Grad Bash! Ladies, no strapless or spaghetti straps, no mid-drift, nothing shorter than mid-thigh shorts! Gentleman, no tank tops (manks), no sports attire, no board shorts! Also, NO HATS!!!  Mrs. Winter will be checking dress code before we leave.  Any questions see Dean Winter, Mrs. Lippo, or Mrs. Williams.

CONGRATULATIONS to Savannah LeFors for winning the high jump with a new conference meet record and school record of 5’4”. Dalton Hodge was also the conference champion in the mile. The boy’s 4×800 meter team ran a new school record by 14 seconds and placed third in the Conference.
