Grad bash!  Seniors interested in going to Grad bash on April 17th, Tickets are on sale, in Dean Winter’s office.  The cost this year is $110, you must pay a $50 deposit to reserve your seat by February 6th.  There are only 150 spaces available, so get your spot early!

What’s your favorite book? Is it a children’s classic or an edgy teen read? Share your passion with the school by getting your picture taken by our yearbook staff during all lunches this week. Yearbook staffers will be stationed in the courtyard, you just need to bring your favorite book with you to pose with. Pictures will be displayed around school during Literacy Week, the last week of January.

Any girl interested in playing golf next year should come to a meeting in Coach Lennox’s room tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan 21st at 9:05 AM for a quick 5 minute meeting in room 635.

Dual Enrollment: If you are interested in taking Dual Enrollment next year you must take the CPT. We will be administering the test on February 2nd. Pick up the form to sing up in guidance.

The Full Sail Field trip is being rescheduled for a weekday later in January or early in February. There was a conflict with a filming event, and we look forward to making the trip, just on a different day.

National Honor Society applications are now being accepted.  Applications are located on the PMHS Website, the NHS webpage, or in the Media Center.  All applications are due to Mrs. Neff or Mrs. Paone by Wednesday, January 14th.

Boys and girls tennis team tryouts begin today, Monday January 12 and will continue thru Thursday from 4 to 5:30 p.m., except Wed. it will be from 3 to 4:30 pm. All required paperwork and the $75 participation fee are due on Monday. Any questions see Coach Brown or Coach Hutcheson at the courts.

Congratulations to the Boys Soccer Teams for their wins last night.  J.V. had a 2-0 victory, and Varsity beat the Yellow Jackets 8-1 with goals from Estin Thiele, Patrick Ray, Liam Downey, and Seniors Luke Kersey, Ivan Martinez, Patrick McGuire, and Cole Chambliss.  Great Job guys!

Seniors, during homeroom today, you will be receiving two information packets. One is to place your order for the Senior Panoramic Photo, which is on display outside of the cafeteria. Three photos are available: Senior Formal, Senior Women Serious, and Senior Women Goofy!

The second packet is for you to schedule your appointment for your formal Cap and Gown photo, which will be taken on campus, Friday, January 23rd. The cap and gown are provided for you for the photography session. Photos are taken in the PAC.

We will be having a quarter clothing sale today, Wednesday during all lunches.  Everything is just one quarter!

Senior women meeting is today Wednesday immediately after school in room 216.   Please bring your money for the Club T-shirt and take yours home.  Also, bring ideas for any project for our club to perform for community service.

Please come show your school spirit as our Boys Basketball team plays against our rival St. Augustine, tonight here at Pedro. JV starts at 6 and the Varsity play at 7:30.  We are selling “Exterminate The Jackets” white out t-shirts for the event for $10. All players, Coach Bailey and Ms. Puch will be selling the t-shirts. Wear your white shirts and come support us as we “White Out” the gym!!!

The Jared Revels scholarship has been added to the PMHS scholarship page as well are many other new scholarships! Seniors, be sure to check the page. If you have questions, please see your counselor.

Conditioning will be held at the tennis courts starting today, Tuesday January 6 through Thursday January 8 from 4 to 5 p.m., except Wednesday it will be from 3 to 4 pm. Bring all participation and medical forms if you have not already submitted them to Ms. Taylor.  Any questions see Coach Brown at the courts.

The football Banquet will be Monday Jan. 12th @ Crescent Beach Baptist Church. RSVPs need to be turned in to Coach Turner by this Friday.

 “Baseball is having a Spirit Night at Cheezees Grill this Thursday, December 18th.  Please come out and support the Baseball team.  Just let them know why you are there when you order.  Dine in or Carry out only.”
