Senior women T-shirts are now in and may be picked up in room 216 from Mrs. Zemanek. Our next Senior Women meeting will be Wednesday, March 7th, right after school in room 216. You must have your picture taken before that day to participate in the senior auction.
Volleyball tournament – The volleyball tournament, which decides who plays the faculty, is now going to be held on Tuesday, February 28th, starting at 4:00pm. Teams must turn in their roster and fee to Coach Winter in room 820. Only 8 teams are taken.
Cell phones & electronic devices – students remember cell phones and other electronic devices are to be turned off and put away while on school grounds till the end of the school day. That also pertains to Virtual school students.

CONGRATULATIONS to the boy’s tennis team for defeating SAHS yesterday 2-0. Hunter Hutcheson, Austin Kayworth, Ben Thomas, Joe Rason, Jeffrey Hopfensberger, Banden Verra, Jesse Drozd and Frederick Henson all helped with the win.

All 3rd period classes are challenged to bring in canned goods, bags of rice, beans, flour, and sugar. The class bringing in the most by weight wins a prize from the PMHS Student Council and you are helping those in need in our community!!
Remember, 3rd period is the contest period!! No glass or liquids, no fresh food (fruit, veggies, meat that needs refrigeration). Boxes in participating classes will be available or drop off food in room 975.
All Food must be in by the 18th (next week!!!). Start collecting!! Bring them in to your 3rd period class, the class with the most by weight wins Chic FIlet!!

"Congratulations to the Menendez swimmers for their performance in Thursday's regional meet. Emilia Sopranzi earned 11th place in the 200 IM and 14th place in the 500 Freestyle in Finals, and our girls 400 Freestyle Relay consisting of Leah Rondinelli, Brianna Glisson, Arin Burns, and Emilia Sopranzi took 15th place overall. Great job lady Falcon swimmers! Thanks for a great season!"

The Menendez Boys Swimmers took 4th place with a score of 330 points, with the girls taking 5th place with a score of 328 points. PSAT – We will be offering the PSAT for all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders on October 12th. If you are a 9th or 11th grader who wishes to take the PSAT you must sign up in guidance by October 3rd and the cost is $15. This is a great opportunity to practice the SAT and for 11th graders it is the qualifying test for National Merit Scholarships. If you have any questions see your Guidance Counselor.
The next blood drive is Nov.15th (a Tuesday) and sign up will begin next week on the 19th in room 975.
Good will Fashion Show - Do you want the chance to walk the runway and show off your style?? Then come to the first “Good Will fashion show” meeting this Thursday, September 22, in Mr. Higgins room. 950. There will be one before school, 8:30am and one after school, 4:00. You just have to attend one of them. Boys and girls are welcome.
